What does SwissEntry cost?
Your personal plan is free: you answer six questions and get the list of official steps that apply to your situation — no subscription, no payment details. You only pay for personal support through the steps that genuinely get difficult. For that there are four packages at fixed prices from CHF 590.–, stated openly on this page.
Do I need an account to get my plan?
Yes. Your plan is calculated from your answers and stored so you can tick off steps and pick up where you left off. That needs an account with an email address; you confirm the address once via a link we send you. You never upload any documents.
Is SwissEntry legal advice?
No. SwissEntry provides orientation and organisational support: which steps are due, how they depend on each other and what you need for each one. Binding legal advice on an individual case comes from the competent authorities and from lawyers.
Does the plan cover every canton?
Yes. Deadlines, responsibilities and processing times differ between cantons and municipalities. During the questionnaire you enter your destination canton and municipality — your plan follows those instead of showing a general average.
Does this work if I am not from the EU?
Yes. From your nationality SwissEntry derives the permit group — Switzerland, EU/EFTA or third country — and shows only the steps that apply to that group. Cross-border commuter status and family members moving with you also feed into the calculation.
Is SwissEntry available in English?
Yes. You switch between German and English in the header; the choice applies to the whole site and to your plan. If you are signed in, we also use it for the emails you receive from us.
What happens to my data?
We only collect what planning your move actually requires. We set no cookies, embed no analytics services and no third-party scripts, we do not sell data and we send no advertising. You can delete your account yourself at any time. Exactly what is stored is set out in the privacy policy.
