Paperwork
From the gallery on the first floor, a clerk drops your file — crumpled into a ball, of course. You are down in the corridor with the bat. One swing per file, three files, and there are staplers on the floor: hit one and it snaps shut and sends the ball on. The ceiling is at nine metres — in this building, nobody gets far by aiming high.
Ready?
Space or a tap swings the bat. It takes a blink to reach the file, so press just before the file is down. Flat and fast travels further than high and steep.

In real life, nothing swings back
The German name of this game, “Papierkrieg”, means paper war — and that is what moving to Switzerland actually feels like. Registration, permit, health insurance, taxes: every office asks for a paper that another office issues, and each one comes with its own deadline.
The guide asks you a few questions and turns them into the list that applies to you: which document is needed where, in what order, with which deadlines and estimated costs.
